Continuing to nurture your preschooler’s mind, the dolphins class is filled to the brim with creative ways to have fun, make friends and learn. The focus here is on honing fine motor skills, encouraging healthy and constructive social interactions, promoting exploration, empowering students to problem solve and creating a solid foundation for future elementary school learning.
Through individual and group activities, small “centers”, each designed to coordinate with a weekly theme, and teacher-led instruction, our students are preparing for Kindergarten. This includes being exposed to foreign language: Dolphins students spend time each week learning Spanish. Because of their age and refined social skills the Dolphins class is able to take a field trip several times a year to integrate real-life experience with the classroom theme.
Age requirement: Students must be 4 years old by September 1.
Classes are 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. 14 students/2 teachers.
